Prayers for Faithful Men

I noticed my mother had these verses underlined in 1 Chron. 9-12 in her Bible.

I thought the Words were a good description of men in my world who are endeavoring to be faithful leaders in a role they've never played before.

I wrote down the verses and I pray them for these men.

9:13-"...able men for the work of the service of the house of God..."

9:23-"...in charge of the gates of the house of the LORD."

10:11-"...valiant men."

12:8-"...trained for battle, faces like the face of a lion, swift as gazelles on the mountain."

12:32-35-"...have understanding of the times, to know what we should do; expert in war with all weapons of war, who can keep battle formation; stout-hearted men who can keep ranks..."

12:38-"...loyal hearts, of one mind."

In order to serve in the house of God.
In order to protect the gates to allow no evil to come in.
In order to win the battle.
In order to know what should be done.

Oh, Jesus. Help these men.
Increase in them who they already are.
Be their Captain.
Be their Shield.
Be their Very Great Reward.
