Michael's notes on Success

Michael was sharing with me some notes he took in his aviation class and I asked him if I could blog them so I could re-read them. He was sure that his instructor, Ernie Rodgers, would not mind if I shared the following with you. These are keys to being successful in aviation but they can be applied across the board.

1. Education opens doors

2. Respect Everyone

3. Be dependable-do what you say

4. Be quick to listen, slow to speak

5. Don't make big things out of little things. As a pilot, this is really important.

6. Be real in life

7. Life is a marathon; not a sprint. In aviation, you will want to work your way up.

Hmm...that's good.
