Yoked

Matthew 11:28-30-"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light."

I was thinking about the whole idea of being yoked to Jesus.
We share emotions, experiences, personalities.

If I am sad, He carries my sorrows and shares His joys.
If life is overwhelming, He carries the weight on His shoulders and does the overcoming.
If who I am is gone, He is the Great I Am.

I've been finding rest for my soul.
For His yoke is easy
and His burden is light.

I am finding it so.
Slowly, but surely.
Finding it so.
