Sloppy Joes

Brown a pound of any kind of burger
and add 1 cup finely chopped onion
while burger is browning.

You can add 1 cup of celery chopped, also if you want.
I never have.

Drain fat off meat and add the remaining ingredients and simmer.

1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 cup ketchup

Simmer covered for about 30 minutes.
I like to add a handful of quick oats and let that simmer for another 5 minutes.
Soaks up the juices and makes for an easier sandwich.

Serve on homemade buns if you have them. ;)
