Hot chocolate-Instant and Real

Instant-

To one medium box of dried milk
add 1 pound Nestlé's chocolate milk powder
 and a medium size container of dried creamer.
Mix. Add 1/2 cup to a mug and add boiling water.
 Stir to dissolve.

If you want, use a large box of dried milk and 2 pounds of Nestlé's and a larger container of creamer.

You can't go wrong, really.

Cocoa-taken from The Mennonite Cookbook.

3 T. cocoa
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1 quart milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 marshmallows

(Vanilla, salt, and marshmallows are all optional.)

Mix sugar, salt and cocoa together.
Add warm water and stir to a smooth paste.
Cook for 3 min.
Mix warm milk into hot syrup.
Whisk in vanilla.
Top with a marshmallow or whipped cream.
Meanwhile, in another kettle on medium heat, warm up 1 quart milk.
