Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

2 cups pumpkin
2 egg yolks
2 c. brown sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour

Mix together pumpkin, egg yolks, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla until creamy.
Mix together dry ingredients and add.
Drop by Tablespoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 5-7 min.
Sandwich 2 cookies with filling between them.

Filling:
2 egg whites
2 tsp. vanilla
4 T. flour
1-1/2 cup shortening
2 T. milk
1 lb. 10 x sugar
