My mother is 83 years old. She is in great shape, mentally, physically and spiritually. Socially, too. I have the great honor of reading journals she has written over the years. I will sometimes share from them under the title,"Mother's journal." Her name is Beulah L. Diffenbach.
The following is a quote that she remembers seeing on a church bulletin board when she was a teenager.
"There is no one in the whole world that Jesus Christ does not understand."
And a poem that was printed in a Christian magazine:
Hyacinths
Oh, gathered clumps of the
rainbow's hue;
Though it was enough,
He gave perfume, too.
