Because of You

I wrote this and sent it to my mother for Mother's Day on May 9, 2007.
I am thinking about her alot today, so I want to honor her with a reminder of just some of the good things she has added to my life.

Because of You~

Do you know I enjoy the wee morning hours with the warbling wren's welcome of the sun...because of you?

Do you know I love the warm summer thunderstorms with the scent of hot soil and the promise of rain...because of you?

Do you know that I read and try to digest the writings of C.S. Lewis, Augustine, Oswald Chambers, Hannah W. Smith, and I.B.Lieve...because of you?

Do you know I love to garden and cook and that I am diligent to do wash and clean the house...because of you?

Do you know that I find humor in the most likely and unlikely of places...because of you?

Do you know I have a heart for pastors and missionaries and different people's of different cultures...because of you?

Do you know that I treasure family and friendships above all else...because of you?

Do you know that I love Phil, Freeman, Philip, Michael, and Susan with all my heart...because of you?

Do you know I love God...Because of you?
Do you know I am crying now...because of you?
