I was struck by some of the characteristics of God sung in this psalm.
~He hears our voice and our supplications
~He inclines His ear to us
~He is gracious and righteous and merciful
~He saves us
~He preserves the simple
~He deals bountifully with us
~He delivers our soul from death
~The death of His saints is precious to Him
~He has loosed our bonds
To think that He inclines His ear to us. We don't have to shout to get His attention. He bends down with His ear toward us so He can hear our whispers and our groanings which cannot be uttered.
What a wonderful God He is.
