Last night, in the midst of that wild storm,
I began to wonder,
"What question does God get asked most often
from human beings?"
I think it might be the question-Why?
Why didn't you protect my loved one
when your promises say you will?
Why do bad people survive
and good people die?
Why did my husband leave me?
Why do those who wish to die, live,
and those who wish to live, die?
Why did you pick me to love?
And then I wondered,
What question do humans
get asked most often from God?
I think it might be-
Do you love me more?
Do you love me more than your
hurt feelings, bitterness, offenses,
shame and pain?
Do you love me more than your
cigarettes, alcohol, drugs,
sugar, and caffeine?
Do you love me more than your
video games and romance novels?
Do you love me more
than the praises of men?
Do you love me more
than the answers to
your questions, "Why?"
Do you love me more?

Let me add one question from God to your list if I may:
"Will you follow me?"
I think that's a biggie for many people....
That's good. Those questions go together. 'Do you love me enough to follow me?' Thanks, Jeanne. Annette
Phil's better and thank you so much for your phone call.
