Do I walk into a room and say in my heart,
"Here I am!,"
or "There you are!"
Do I love people because of who they are
and in spite of who they are
or do I love people for what they do for me
and how they make me feel?
Do I say in my heart-
to God, my family, my friends and co-workers,
"You must increase. I must decrease?"
Do I mind being invisible?
Can I do good things for others
without wanting to let others
know what I have done?
The Soul Searcher Searches My Heart.
He cleanses me with His hyssop.
He gives me His Heart,
His love,
and His ways.
