Psalm of Comfort~#13~Ps.46:1,2,4,5

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;...

There is a river whose streams
shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her,
she shall not be moved;
God shall help her,
just at the break of dawn.

Where does God dwell now? Who is His tabernacle?
We are, as individuals, and we are, as the body of Christ.
God is in the midst of us and we will not be moved or shaken.
We will be helped, just at the turning of the morning.
Just when we need to see light at the end of our tunnel.
All this stability and help take place when the foundations of our world and of our lives are falling apart...when nature itself is in an upheaval.
Be still and know He is our refuge.
Be still and know that He is God.
