Very good book. Picked it up at Baine's book store in Appomattox. If you like history, you will enjoy learning more about the Cultural Revolution and what life was like in China before, during, and after Mao Tse-tung's reign of power.
The front of the book reads, ' The extraordinary story of an extraordinary woman who despite 6 1/2 years of imprisonment and torment in Communist China not only survived but endured and even prevailed'-Time

Since 1983, she has lived in Washington, D.C., where she finished writing her story. I would love to meet her. I wonder if she is still living.
