No wonder there are tragedies. We can't blame that on God.
Jesus does not just improve situations; He makes them best. Case in point-water into the best wine. Jno. 2:10
In reading the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15, I noticed that the father divided the wealth between them at the same time-so the elder brother still had his inheritance all this time so he had lost nothing in his brother's escapades although he calls it his father's wealth that had been devoured. And again I am overwhelmed by all that statement in vs. 31-ALL THAT I HAVE IS YOURS can and does mean for us spiritually!
And then the father's sweet statement "My child" instead of "You are very childish in your reaction." And this is Jesus' picture of the Father. And who should know better!
