"Throughout the course of that unforgettable evening, Jesus was intense in His words and actions. He knew we had one last chance to get ahold of His truths; and instead of resting to prepare Himself for what was ahead, He poured His very life into us, before He would lay it down.
He promised us that, although we couldn't go with Him now, He would come back and take us to the beautiful home He would prepare for us.
And He promised to send us the Holy Spirit in His place, to give us comfort, counsel, and truth.
He exhorted us to love each other in the same way He loved us.
And He prayed for us.
He prayed for you, too."
