One of the main reasons for the terrible curses listed in Deut. 28:15-68?
v.47-Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything.
And I am afraid those times are the exception with me and not the norm. This eve., though, as I was dragging out the garbage cans, I decided to rejoice that I was able to do it. I also rejoiced that I was able to see the beautiful moon. I rejoiced in the Father who brings good out of everything, and it was a moment of joy. This all was due to the face that I realized that to Rejoice evermore is to rejoice in whatever I am doing. Since it must be done anyway, what better way to do it than in an obedient rejoicing way?!
